New packaging...

I love receiving fun things in the mail so I thought it would be fun to create a better "brand" for ourselves. I love the new packaging I came up with for our video demos! Who wouldn't love to receive a little package like this in the mail?!?!? I'm even thinking of sending it to myself to add a bit of variety to our mailbox! :) OK, so maybe not, but variety is good right? Fun packages are good right?

"Phones"

For whatever reason, my stupid phone reminds me of the Forrester Sister’s song, “Men”. I was obsessed with it back in the day, and when I say obsessed, I mean OBSESSED!! I even had an autographed t-shirt from them that I made mom wash it o’ so carefully so as not to wash out their autographs. I thought I was wearing a million bucks when I had that thing on!

The "Men" song lyrics were:
Well, you can't beat 'em up 'cause they're bigger then you.
You can't live with 'em and you just can't shoot 'em.
Men! I'm talkin' 'bout men.

This is how I would change the lyrics to suit my phone:
Well, I could beat it up ‘cause it’s smaller than me.
I can’t live without it so I just can’t throw it.
Phones! I’m talkin’ 'bout phones!

So my stupid pink Razr has decided that it will only make a call on its terms. NOT on mine. On Friday it stopped working and stopped letting me call out, it would only receive calls so I drove 30 minutes to the Verizon store on Saturday only to find that it worked perfectly once I stepped foot in the door! Ugh! Then on Sunday, it stopped calling out again! Luckily they are not making me drive back to the store and have agreed to FedEx me a new one. The truck can’t come soon enough! I’m addicted more than I thought!

"Tuff Dog"

That's right, we have a "tuff dog"! If you don't believe it, you need to pay Maddoxx a visit...that is if you can find her in her camo! So we are STILL working on destroying the pond that was once in our back yard. That means we have a backyard full of dirt and mud. Also known as 7th heaven for a dog. Maddoxx LOVES digging holes in the dirt pile...and then she makes her way to the grassy yard. You can see the evidence on her paw...dirt AND grass! We can't quite get her to understand that we want to keep the little grass that we have!

4 years already!

We're not quite sure where the time has gone, but we celebrated our 4 year anniversary on June 7! We are amazed with how far we have come from our start living in married student housing. 4 years, 4 moves, 1 dog and a business later, here we are today looking forward to what the future has to hold for us. We have been so blessed!
The picture is our attempt at a self portrait. We haven't quite taught Maddoxx how to press the shutter yet. Speaking of that...it sounds like a great new trick to work on. Maddoxx........

a new approach

If there is one thing in our house that Maddoxx wishes she could destroy, it would have to be the computers. She knows when we are both in the office she has to entertain herself because we will not be playing fetch with her. Check out how she is entertaining herself now....she's learned how to stack things! We were each at a computer when I looked down to find the ball ON TOP OF the nobbly! Yes, she did that all by herself. Well the little trick worked and we stopped editing to give her the attention she was craving.

Out of the "blue"

Check out the surprise that came in the big brown truck! UPS came 5 hours later than usual and messed up the surprise a little bit. But the good news is that Eric gave it to me a day earlier than planned! (I suppose it had a little to do with the fact that I was home when the package arrived and I wouldn't stop asking questions about the "secret" box.) :) I don't like surprises a lot because that means that I'm not in the know. On the other hand when surprises come in little blue boxes I certainly don't complain! Thank you for surprising this time Eric!
