Jenney and Seth
are engaged to be married in just a few months! They were in town from Chicago for a few days so that meant that rain or shine we were going to do their engagement session! We drew the rain card, but it couldn't hold us back...we had an awesome session with them!
Oh magnolias how I love you so!! Each spring I can't stop talking about them and how I really really really want one to call my own. However, we are all very aware how lawn and tree challenged we are. I think I have come to terms with the fact that I will just have to continue admiring the magnolias that aren't taking up residence in our yard.
In case you were wondering, it really was raining on them....and the umbrella was a necessary accessory!
Ahhhh, yes....this is exactly what I love capturing....spontaneous fun!
And I'm in love, love, love with this one...so simple and colorful!
And oh my, my....how hot is this?!?! Jenney was totally rocking the heels and totally cute little black dress....yes we wanted to give Seth a few extra minutes to check her out....hot, hot, hot!!
Seth and Jenney - Through the rain and parking tickets, you two are the greatest sports ever!! We did have fun pushing our creative limits while staying under the overhangs with you! You certainly have a story to tell, not everyone can say they had outdoor engagement pictures taken in the rain! We are so excited for your wedding to get here and to capture all the love and joy of your day...rain free!

Meet Wrigley
She had no idea what she was in for when her grandparents whisked her away on a rainy afternoon after they got the call to request that she be a part of a photo shoot. Those are her parents, Seth and Jenney behind her. You will meet them in a later post, but for now, this post is ALL about Wrigley girl!
I admit Wrigley, it was my fault...but I just had to meet you once your mom and dad told me about you! Go ahead and stick your tongue out at me as much as you want, but I'm still going to take pictures of you! Neener, neener, neener!
Wrigley acts like she doesn't have a worry in the world...but check it out! She's a little obsessed with her looks and takes the chance to check herself out any opportunity she gets!
And because I couldn't resist taking pictures of her and her squishy and smooshy little face, here are a few more for your viewing pleasure...
The sneak peak of Jenney and Seth will be coming this week....I couldn't help but let the Wrigley pictures distract me for a little bit! Enjoy!!
Baby David
was in town for a baby shower thrown by his mommy's friends. This was his first big trip from Illinois since he was born and I'm told he was a rockstar traveller! Way to go little buddy!!
I love this family capture!! Soooo stinking adorable! I love the grin's on all of their faces.
The expression on his face here totally cracks me up! If only he could tell me what he was thinking...
I can never resist a perfect "mommy and me" moment! I'm loving the simplicity of the colors and the love captured here.
The decorations for David's baby shower were totally adorable! I couldn't end the post without sharing just a couple of the details.
Baby David - How adorable are you?!!? I am so happy I got to meet you and capture all of your cuteness! I loved that you loved my camera and how intrigued you were by it, you are too cute! Oh wait, have I already mentioned that a few times?!?!

Martina and Blair
are married!! Their wedding day was the most perfect day despite what the weather forecast said it would be....the forecast could not have been more wrong! And boy were we happy!!
We started off bright and early at the salon with Martina and her girls...I LOVED how relaxed Martina was all day, she rocked being a bride!
Blair was just as relaxed...hmmmm, perfect match? I think so! I loved the relaxed groom shot.
Martina's girls were so excited to watch her go as she was about to see Blair for the first time....how cute are they peeking their heads around the corner?!?!? And check out the pure joy on Martina's face! There is only one thing on her mind...
and that is to see this boy! He was just as excited to see his girl! Seriously, their first meeting was a true tear jerker! Blair was speechless and it was priceless. I am SO excited we also captured this wedding with video and they will be able to see it all over again! He immediately wanted to spin her around so he could see everything....how CUTE is that?!?!?
One thing that we want to make sure of at weddings is that the couple really focus on eachother....the pictures will happen, but we want to capture their love happening naturally...we love to capture that gaze....here it is! Just Martina and Blair in the empty church before all their guests arrived.
Another detail I am obsessed with...holding hands. I love how this captures them holding onto each other and it also beautifully captures the details of her gorgeous dress....ah yes, I'm lovin' it!
It wasn't too long before we found the rest of their friends....and their friends brought PERFECTLY matching umbrellas!
I always love me a good group hug! I was having people snuggle all day long....how fun!!
BLING on the cake topper!! YUM!!
May I order a smokin' hot kiss? Yes please! Thank you all you glass clinkers out there!!
Ah, yes the first dance...
Martina and Blair - Sigh, where oh where do I start?!? We LOVED spending the day with you and your family and friends...what a totally fun, fantastic and beautiful day!! Capturing your love for each other was awesome, we were honored you invited us to be a part of it!! We can't wait to get the rest of the images AND video to you!!

Matt {class of 2009}
We took a few pictures of Matt back in November, just enough to have one for the yearbook. As you all well know, that is totally not a true KandE Productions session....so we got together again when we could have more time together and play outside! Since Matt already had one "session" with us, I really don't think he knew what was coming at him!
One of the first images began with me screaming....THETRAINISCOMING!!! YOU GOTTA COME OVER HERE...THERETHERETHERERIGHTTHERE...THATSPERFECT!!! (Yes, that was just the beginning, can you imagine what he was thinking with me running and screaming like a mad woman...oh how embarrasing thinking back on it!)
The good news is that I think I didn't traumatize him too much with my outburst...he was relaxed in no time. :) I love how candid this is and how his personality shines though!
Yep, we had fun! I'll let the pictures be the proof...
Matt - Thank you for coming down for another session! What fun we had! From the train to the tow truck, I'm not sure it could have been more random! We wish you all the best as you head off for basic training...and thank you for your service!!!

Cooper
turned one! I cannot believe it has already been a year since we heard the news! I remember the first time I met him, he was the tiniest peanut....sooooo very tiny! Boy oh boy has he grown in the last year, he is one VERY busy boy now!
This is what many of images we captured look like....a flash of Cooper going one way or the other. He....does.....not....sit......still!
This is the excitement on his face when he finds his mommy...
and then he turns around and see his grandma....
Cooper is a man with a mission and there is NO way to stop him on his mission. You can't stop him, the only thing you can do is follow him and move things along the way before he either runs into them or grabs them. As much as my heart was racing watching him in action, it really was very funny. I have never seen a one year old with SO much determination! This is the look...and you know you can't stop him. This just makes me giggle when I look at it!
Can't you just see it in his eyes?!?! He's got something on his mind and there is no holding him back.
We thought having him opening a present would be a good distraction. When he opened it to find a jack in the box we were totally excited! I was ready capture a stunned reaction when the jack popped out of the box. Nope! Stunned and surprised SO did not happen. Cooper could have cared less about the jack popping out, he immediately went to work to try and figure out WHY it happened. I am not kidding! I could not believe it! We have a little smarty pants on our hands!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Let the party begin!
It started with Cooper's favorite....spaghetti supper! He fully indulged...
Birthday's are fun for all the kids when there's a one year old in the house because EVERYONE gets to open presents!
Sing it with me, "Happy Birthday to Cooper..."
And finally, Cooper's first taste of Grandma Marcia's mouth-watering-oh-so-delicious cake! When she walked in the door, one of the kids said with a big sigh of relief, "oh good, you brought the cake!" :)
Cooper, Cooper, Cooper, where in the world do I start?!?! You made me laugh, gasp, giggle and sweat but boy oh boy were we so happy to be there for your first birthday party! You are such a sweet little boy and we look forward to continue to watch you grow and grow! We love you cousin Cooper David!
